Itinerary -

Day 01: Cochin – Thattekad

In the morning pick up from your hotel, railway station or airport, and then 71 km drive to Thattekad. Check into the wildlife resort on arrival. Thereafter, freshen up and explore the exotic and beautiful world of the birds within the resort premises. Later, have a comfortable overnight stay at the resort.
Be it an evergreen, dry deciduous, lowland forest, scrub or riverine grasslands, Thattekad is a home to several types of eco-systems. Owing to these different eco-systems, Thattekad is the perfect destination for bird watchers.
The birds that work as a soothing sight to the sore eyes
Oriental Scops Owl, Rufous Babbler, Malabar Grey Hornbill, Brown Fish Owl, Crimson-backed Sunbird, White Bellied Blue Flycatcher, Malabar Parakeet, Wynaad Laughingthrush, Mottled Wood Owl, White-bellied Treepie, Oriental Bay Owl, Oriental Scops Owl, Spot-bellied Eagle Owl, Grey Junglefowl, Indian Pitta, Black-throated Munia, Grey Headed Fishing Eagle and Red Spurfowl.

Day 02: Thattekad

Post breakfast enjoy a bird-watching tour around Thattekad, and later an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Thattekad - Cochin

Get up in the morning with the music of the birds. Later enjoy a tempting breakfast and drive to Cochin, and thereafter head towards the Railway Station/Airport.
